  • On a listed building most of the opportunities for design alterations will exist on the lower ground floor. By creating openings from this floor into the garden a versatile family space can be created.
  • Digging out a basement for this property would allow the inclusion of other spaces, such as a media room, gym and entertainment space.
  • For the first time an undercover route between the main house and mews house could exist, via the addition of a basement.
  • The subterranean space that exists between the two buildings, would even allow for a pool and sauna to be installed. Natural light could be brought into this space via a flat panel light well built with the garden landscape.
