Design Events In September & October 2018
In September and October London plays host to a number of exciting events, that will kick start the design world back into action after the summer break. Here are a few dates to pop into the diary.
London Design Biennial
When: Sept. 4–23
Where: Somerset House, London
The London Design Biennial returns this year with the theme Emotional States, which aims to explore the ways design influences our emotions. The biennial will take over Somerset House with interactive installations, art, and design solutions by participants from 40 countries, cities, and territories.
When: Sept. 14–19
Where: Berkeley Square, Mayfair
LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair has grown to become a foremost international showcase for art and antiques. Expect to discover a treasure trove of antique jewellery, furniture, carpets, tapestries, clocks, ceramics, silver and fine art at this ever more popular event on the London social calendar.
When: Sept. 15–23
Where: Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour
Universally recognised as a primary destination for creative excellence, bringing together thousands of tastemakers from the worlds of interior design, architecture and style. Get the inside track at talks, demonstrations, workshops and discovery tours; meet established makers, emerging innovators and skilled artisans; listen to star names sharing their ideas and narratives at the Conversations in Design series; and connect with influencers and tastemakers from 120 showrooms and 600+ international brands

Where: Syon Park, London
The centrepiece of London Design Festival, Decorex provides an unparalleled opportunity for interior design professionals to discover exquisite creations including; the finest furniture, lighting, textiles, craft and accessories from emerging and established names alike.
When: Oct. 1–7
Where: Berkley Square, Mayfair
Inspiring a unique spirit of collecting, PAD epitomises how modern art, photography, design, decorative and tribal arts interact to reveal astonishing combinations and create the most individual and staggering interiors. Prominent international galleries from major cities across Europe, North America and Asia come together to offer an exceptional panorama of 20th Century art, design and decorative arts.

Now in it’s fifteenth year in London, Frieze Masters features more than 130 leading modern and historical galleries from around the world, showcasing art from the ancient era and Old Masters to the late 20th century. Discover a daily schedule of talks, performances, gallery openings and other events taking place at this popular fixture.
