Simon Foot
Senior Architectural Designer

Simon is the creative half or our architectural team, working alongside Robert Adams and with responsibility for conceptual design.  He also stays involved in the later stages of projects, overseeing detail design as architects and technicians produce construction information.

Simon obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Three-Dimensional Design at The Buckinghamshire College in 1985, having been taught by Richard Padovan, Ian Frank and a variety of tutors from the architectural world. He joined the firm at the inception of the London office in 2005.

Whether he’s working on a new house or an existing one, Simon brings his lengthy and varied experience in the world of domestic architecture to the process of realising clients’ desires. He has worked on projects in the UK, Europe, the US and further afield, always with the same enduring enthusiasm for architecture.

Simon’s main interest is in what makes a dwelling a success for the client:

“Often this isn’t immediately apparent, but it underpins the design of a good house. I always aim to exceed the client’s expectations in terms of both aesthetics and function.”
