The installation of antique glass wall treatments with bronze tipping to each side of the fireplace cabinetry creates a sophisticated aesthetic.
This basement cinema room featured a curvaceous seating arrangement to accommodate a large group. It was given a real sense of purpose with the installation of a dramatic curved wall, punctuated with elegant gold leaf lighting and sumptuously soft velvet seating.
An intricate hand-painted mural set on textured linen, within a tryptic of panels and embellished with handsome bronze frames.
This small yet beautifully hand-crafted kitchen features cabinets that, as part of the manufacturing process, have received over twenty coats of polish to create a visibly rich patina and luminosity to the finished units.
…subtle and lightly aged interior treatments create an enduring and authentic look for this elegant summer room overlooking sweeping parkland views. The space breathes with the heady aroma of rosemary, lavender and jasmine in the air…
Originally a blank canvas, this room was transformed. The paneling, plasterwork and flooring were all designed by the Janine Stone team during the refurbishment of this period home.

The ceiling of this elegant Kensington gentleman’s salon, draws the eye to the exquisite joinery and specialist finishes produced by European artisans.
The 1940’s provided much inspiration during the refurbishment of this interior. The brass balustrades create a harmonious ensemble with the metal console and lantern.
A quiet corner…in which to retreat and relax. This large and elegant drawing room has been cleverly subdivided into different seating areas to help maximise options for all the family. So if it’s an intimate and cosy space for reading or indeed, a gin and tonic at the end of a frenetic day – this space is at once inviting and dials down the mood.
The rich jewel tones of the space from sumptuous deep garnet velvet chairs to the ebony occasional table and their adjacency to a handsome wall of books, encourages time to reflect and be still.
This elegantly elongated dining table entwines sycamore and brass in a way that emphasises the natural grain of the wood, and radiates it across the highly veneered table top surface.
Restrained and elegant – bold shapes and a gentle palette of hazy blues, clay greys accented with bronze and antique gold, give a luminosity to the space.
Dark Arts – jewel rich hues set the scene and envelope the senses. Richly drawn architectural details and layered luxury personified.
A masterclass in bringing an intimacy and warmth to a library…Hand polished walnut makes for a deliciously dark and inviting midnight blue patina for the custom cabinetry.
The elongations of the space have been emphasised by the bronze insert on dark English oak flooring, which fans from the centre outwards.
The clean, modern lines of the kitchen furniture and striking colour scheme create a sense of drama, further enhanced by the powerful, wall mounted imagery. A large sliding door opens up to reveal an informal dining area.
This beautifully apportioned bathroom has the air of decadence. The marble floor becomes a sunken pool that offers a truly luxurious bathing experience.
By introducing a combination of fine hardwoods and natural stone, an atmosphere of a bygone era has been created in this subterranean wine cellar.
Dark marble stone – a classical finish – contemporarily designed.
Sumptuously appointed and regal, this Gentlemen’s bathroom features; polished camello marble and onyx displayed in a dramatic diamond pattern that foils the walnut panelling, hand-crafted walnut cabinetry and a basalt basin with decorative relief detail.
Just glimpsed – dressing room seen through bespoke pocket doors with bronze handles.
A regency period morning room for the modern age.
The ceiling and walls here are finished with a translucent white-paint treatment that creates the appearance of an aged patina, reflecting the light from the central chandelier and wall sconces.
Sleek white units in high gloss are offset with slate work surfaces and a charcoal rubber floor, lending an urban warmth. The space is enlivened with flashes of colour from the client’s artwork and by the dining chairs in citron yellow.
A well-proportioned hallway allows for a noble entrance to a home.
This gracious example features an elegant Portland stone floor with under-floor heating which avoids the over use of radiators, the honed finish gives a softer mood and feel to the space. The gallery of portraits form an elegant wall of memories.
Glamour and sophistication combine in this master bathroom.
